As of today, filming in Japan has officially commenced! I landed last night in the Japan Narita airport around 4 pm Tokyo time, spent the night in Tokyo at the Akasaka Exel Hotel, and will spend the next couple days hanging out here at Mozilla-Japan. The office is very friendly, though surprisingly small, only about 6 people. I will attempt to film as much as possible while I am here. So far today, I think my camera has been off for about 5 minutes.
I fully understand that most Mozilla enthusiasts will never have a chance to visit Mozilla-Japan. Therefore, please let me know if there is anything in particular that you would like to see!
Here are a couple quick pictures to whet you appetites.

Perhaps you could interview someone within about what marketing projects they have, and how are they promoting Firefox.
Hey guys,
I’m curious how Mozilla is pronounced in Japan. It’s derived from Godzilla which I’ve heard is pronounced /GO.ji.ra/ in Japanese. Wondering if Mozilla would be /MO.ji.ra/. Thanks and have fun over there…
Hey,
Just wanted to know how long do you plan on staying in Japan? And do you mean that Mozilla only has 6 people in Japan?? Or is that just Tokyo or is that just your one little office?
There’s a broken image on this page, with src set to “out the windowjpg” (no dot before jpg).
Patrick, I’m curious about that too. http://www.mojira.org/ suggests that it’s pronounced “Mojira” but who knows.
I’d like to see more pictures of the actual facility.
Patrick: Yes, Mozilla is written and pronounced in Japanese as モジラ (Mojira).
Firefox is something like:
Foo.why.ya Fol.cks
Katakana is used to write stranger words, like it pronounces !
Fu.wa.ya Fu.wo.ku.su
Katakana Table
AHHHHH!!!! It’s MOJIRA!!!!!!!
