TEASER TRAILER!

Hello! We (John Carey and myself, Matt Shichtman) are finally ready to launch the teaser trailer to the firefox summer video projects! We will be spending the summer putting together short bits of video with the purpose of bringing you, our viewers, the Mozilla experience as we near the release of the much anticipated FIREFOX 2. Some videos will be produced segments, others might just be behind-the-scenes footage or interviews. Simply put, we are going to post as often as possible to keep all of you in the know. We have been interning here for a couple of weeks now, and let me tell you there is never a dull day at Mozilla. Stay tuned!

For those of you without the necessary Quicktime plugin, you can view a lower quality Flash version over at YouTube or Google Video. And for everyone else, download your Theora version here.

Funny to see some behind the-scene actions. They’re doing a great job and I hope that Firefox 2 will be more then able to compete with the new generation of IE and to compete with Opera, who really got there arrows pointed at Firefox for becomming the 2nd used browser.
Thanx guys for providing the safest and user-friendly’est and simply the best Browser on the net.

So what are you doing… ;-)

Two things I’m really looking forward to: This and Lightning.
As soon as I can sync my smart phone with Thunderbird, the ring will be completed. No reason whatsoever to use any Microsoft software at all. Finally I can fully experience the web, easily organize my e-mails, appointments and contact, all by using free, secure, high-quality software.
    Firefox 2.0 will be great.

    Thank you Firefox.

Am unable to download Quicktime trailer over my 4 Mbps connection. Are your servers up to the volume?

  6. Funny that it requires a plugin that Firefox is unable to find to view this video. I’m running Debian Sarge GNU/Linux.

A young computer buff told me to try Firefox and Thunderbird.

Being in my 80’s I was very hesitant to do so. Friend helped me and then recommended I read, DON’T CLICK on the BLUE.

Read that and now using Thunderbird and Firefox. Gads. How simple, how easy to use. What a wonderful improvement in my life! At long last this compuiter has become friendly and not a chore.

Question? How do you people make a living if I downloaded both programs free?

If I travel to Bay Area next year would it be possible to see how you operate? I would not stay more then five minutes. I finally spotted your short movie and was trully impressed.

All the best to you and yours,

    Tom Grosch
