The New York Times Magazine has a great write-up of Flicks today by columnist Rob Walker. “Probably most surprising about the Firefox ads is how much they resemble the traditional work of the ad world’s high priests,” Rob writes.
Sorry about the Flicks posting slowdown. I’m in Amsterdam at the x-tech conference with a broken laptop. Regular posting will resume as soon as I get back to the office where I’ll have access to a better functioning machine.
Big ups to Pete Macomber for the great story in the Santa Monica Mirror. We’re happy for him and for everyone else who contributed to Firefox Flicks. Asa’s away in Amsterdam this week, and I’m holding down the fort. We’ll have more news, and more videos, next week.
