Ad Viewing Tool in the Works

We’re hard at work finalizing the design of the ad viewing site that we’ll be putting in place sometime in the next week or so. We’re going to be providing a great system that will let you view, comment on, rate, subscribe, download, and share the videos. More details coming soon.

I’m few days late raeding but this all sounds fantastic. It should be pumped up to gain exposure because many people are waiting to ses the ads. Im one of them with thousands of others in line.

So I have the best idea for this contest but wouldn’t be able to sketch a fox let alone animate a firefox! Anyways, the beginning of the commercial pans out and a deep voice (average commercial voice, sense of amusement) says ‘Meet Bill, The Internet Explorer’ (secretly, Bill is bill gates and internet explorer being the leading browser) so anyways it pans out behind Bill and you see he is a average sized man that is outfitted with all sorts of hunting gear (he dresses in a generally blue-colour outfit) and when the pan comes behind him and it says meet bill blah blah the camera freezes as the voice is giong, and it seems bill is in a heroic-type stance, but as soon as you unfreeze it it shows that he was actually in the middle of a slip as he climbed up the side of a mountain type cliff. Then as soon as it shows him struggling for a second we zoom over to the right (in the direction he is climbing towards) and as the zoom is going the voice says ‘In hunt of the illusive firefox’ and it shows the fox zooming by, and as he zooms by it freezes frame again, giving people a good look at the fox and establishing the firefox as the mascot for the browser. Then what happens comes in a series of commercials done in the ‘roadrunner vs wiley e coyote’ style where the firefox consistantly out performs and gets away from Bill, the internet explorer, I have more of the idea in my head and I need someone to help me make the idea into a video! Please tell me if you want to use the idea, I don’t ask for much I just need to know whats going on I don’t want to see it on the TV and say DOH! Anyways, please guys tell me what you think, I would have submitted the idea but I have no video to show for! My email is mloubani@rogers.com, any feedback would be great!

I’m having some serious concerns about how microsoft will react to some of these ads having there name and sometimes logo in these ads. While there is some legal ground(thanks Asa) for it I’m just going to take the old creative work around.
